admin • January 15, 2019

If I am honest, I have a tendency to be a pessimist.  Naturally, I tend to lean towards the glass is half empty.  Worry and anxiety have been my companions for a very long time. I have to make a very conscious effort to optimistic and that sounds terrible to admit but it is true.  Optimism doesn’t come naturally to me.  I have been working on changing my thought processes and allowing more positive thoughts in.  From what I have read, optimism is a learnable skill.  Phew…….there is hope…..  Positive thoughts have the ability to uplift you if you let them. They can change the way you see the world and by surrounding yourself in positivity you limit your mind’s ability to entertain negative thoughts or doubts.  Very powerful words that seem so simple yet are so difficult for those who are naturally more pessimistic.     This image is a reminder of just that…..wrapping my thoughts in strength and positivity will allow me to rise above and uplift me, even in times of darkness.
