Masked Couture

During the Covid 19 pandemic disposable masks can be seen littering the streets in abundance after being carelessly discarded. Humans are a messy bunch aren't we? After seeing these masks on every street corner, I began noticing their uniqueness. Each was shaped in varying and subtly different ways and when you look closely and use your imagination they begin resembling fashion we see on the walkways. I created each dress by deconstructing disposable masks and creating a variety of styles some of which are inspired by the very popular series The Bridgertons.
