Joshua Creek Heritage Art Centre Juried Photo Exhibit 2014

It is always thrilling seeing your images displayed in a gallery. I always get goose bumps and butterflies. And love quietly lingering around while viewers comment about particular images. This year Andreas and I got a kick out of listening to what people thought of my image “there’s a hippo in my bathtub”.
Joshua Creek Heritage Art Centre was founded by Sybil Rampen who is a huge advocate for local artists. It is always an honour to see her at the centre. This year, my date was my youngest son who has always been one of my biggest supporters. He is my go to person when I need a photo assistant. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for always being in my corner. xo

Back to black. Nature inspired me to create some new work. Going back to black to make the colours pop, I worked with an amazing seamstress to create this skirt intended to resemble leaves.
