Figuratively Speaking
"Figuratively Speaking" is inspired by the shapes and movements observed under the water's surface. The way the human body is able to move in water and the effect it has on the way you see it when submerged under water, creates an altered sense of reality. Movements are fluid and graceful, and human figures become somewhat abstracted when in water creating a textural richness and painterly quality to the images.
